As a crucial member of a lean startup, I was involved in developing a cutting-edge NFT market index that encompasses individual NFTs, Collections, and Marketplace indexing. We created this site within six months. I was responsible for engineering the visual aspect of the site, using Figma, Tailwind CSS, JavaScript, and Jinja2/Django to produce a high-performing, accessible, and mobile-friendly experience.

Micro Center needed to develop a custom PC configurator that would make it easier for customers to choose and purchase compatible parts for building a PC. I researched, created wireframes and mockups, and worked with the development team to implement the designs. The configurator was also marketed as a white-label solution, and the group collaborated with different part manufacturers to create branded versions of the configurator. Additionally, the goal was to drive sales to Micro Center's PC build service, which assembled the components and ensured the computer was ready for pickup the same day after reserving the parts through the configurator.

ReadyMadeRC needed a redesign for its aging e-commerce website, which needed to be mobile-friendly. I was brought in to give the website a new look that would appeal to a younger audience in the drone racing market. With a mobile-first approach, I created a clean and minimal design implemented throughout the entire website, resulting in an improved user experience and increased conversions. I also assisted with various marketing efforts to help drive traffic and engagement on the site.

As a team member at Manta.com, I had the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where I contributed to developing and designing the business directory site. My main focus was improving customer user experience by working closely with designers, developers, and other teams. I was involved in notable projects, such as developing an object-oriented CSS library in partnership with  

, which aimed to improve the site layout consistency and responsiveness. Additionally, I participated in user research and testing to gather feedback, which helped inform decisions and ensure customer needs were met. This experience allowed me to grow my skills in product ideation, visual design, and user experience while helping small businesses establish a web presence and expand their customer base.

As a UX designer and researcher, I was part of a lean, hand-picked team that worked on creating an application for bundled healthcare billing. Our goal was to make healthcare more efficient and less confusing for all parties involved by focusing on "episodes of care,” which encompass all aspects of a significant medical event. To achieve this, we conducted extensive research and interviewed industry leaders to gain insight into the day-to-day tasks related to an episode of care. We also visited potential users on-site to understand their needs and requirements. After the discovery phase, we defined requirements, created user personas, and designed low-fidelity wireframes that were presented to users for feedback. Through numerous iterations, we developed a design system and a working prototype that helped create transparency throughout an episode’s timeline, streamline the process for providers and payors and keep patients informed on progress and cost. The success of this project helped secure the next round of funding for the company.

OBM pushes the boundaries of out-of-home advertising with its larger-than-life installations. As the lead designer and art director, they've crafted spectacular wall-scapes that have captured the nation's attention and earned recognition from major brands like Nationwide Insurance, City of Columbus, Miller Brewing Co, and Business First. Each project is an opportunity to showcase their creativity and leave a lasting impact on the community.

The Coop's Paint Nationwide Paint Ad was created in partnership with TM Advertising, representing many months of planning, lots of paint, three cars, and tons of imagination. This ad went viral immediately and was featured in Communication Arts, won an OBIE Award, made the shortlist at Cannes Advertising Festival, and was a finalist at One Show.

The result was pretty stunning and easily attracted attention. The picture from the air was from an RC helicopter, but this ad could be seen from airliners coming into Columbus.

A development company wanted to hide its construction site and represent what was being built. 1:1 scans of the architect's renderings were printed and attached to a frame supported by telephone poles. The picture on the left was the printed facade, the right is the actual building.

Miller wanted an ad that reflected Columbus. The Columbus skyline was created in Photoshop with images of beer foam.

Business First wanted something that displayed its core values in its lobby. With a shift to more digital media, I wanted this to be a throwback to the traditional print days.

After our first successful project with Business First, they wanted to create an outdoor installation on their building to celebrate their success.

During my time at OBM, there were MANY MANY concepts that were floated by a client that never see the light of day, typically because of funding issues, project scope, or business goals. These are some of my favorite concepts that I designed.

A throwback to the old Coor's Light advertising, this featured Columbus in the middle of what could be the Rocky Mountains.

This was the initial idea for what is now known as the Coop's Paint Ad. I believe this idea was later used in a Nationwide TV commercial. Another idea for Nationwide's typical placement on the Atlas building in Columbus. A throwback to the old Marbolo Marlboro ads.
